Join SentryOne and Red Hat as we discuss the performance benefits of running SQL Server on Linux,  Experts will review benchmarks, provide tips on Linux tuning and monitoring, and deliver advice on how to squeeze extra performance out of SQL Server with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). This session will walk through specific benchmarks that demonstrate leading performance of RHEL on the latest Intel and AMD platforms.  We'll then dive into Linux system-level performance concepts such as cgroups, along with RHEL-specific tools such as tuned.  Attendees will have a look at system-level performance monitoring using Performance Co-Pilot and Grafana.   After that, we'll dig into database performance on RHEL overall, then drill down to the specific performance capabilities with SQL Server including a demonstration of the performance benefits of tuning.  We'll close with a discussion with how SentryOne completes the story with tools to monitor and improve database-level performance for SQL Server.  You will leave this session with a better understanding of how you can improve performance by running SQL Server on Red Hat Enterprise linux and how SentryOne can help.
