Loading a Data Warehouse in SSIS


In this session, you’ll learn how to load a data warehouse using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

We’ll first cover the terminology to be expected when creating and loading a data warehouse.

Then, you’ll learn the benefits and pitfalls of using the Slowly Changing Dimension transform (SCD Wizard) in SSIS and some alternatives to speeding up the load.

Lastly, you’ll learn how to load the fact table and some alternatives to speeding up the load and how Task Factory can speed up data warehouse loads.
